Flow
- First In First Out (FIFO).
- First In Random Out (FIRO) with On-Demand Buffer System.
Geometry – BXA version
- The belt rides on top of two raised flat bars (raceway).
- The raceway is attached to the lower inverted-“U” stainless steel body by means of spacers.
Unique cleaning advantages – BXA version
- 1-½” clearance between the raised raceway and the body.
- Stainless steel raceways without crevices.
- Minimum horizontal surfaces where debris or product could accumulate.

Options
- On-Demand Buffer System – ODBS. Products flow through a by-pass conveyor until the buffer is required; at this point, a control system diverts the product into the Alpine.
- Dynamic control: the Alpine speed changes according to the requirements of the line, maximizing buffer capacity.
Mechanical specifications – BXA version
- Frame material: stainless steel 304, gage 12.
- Frame finish: polished to a #4 finish.
- Weld finish: continuous heli-arc welds, grounded and polished.
- Reducer: direct-mount, vent-free aluminum alloy housing.
- Bearings: double sealed bearings, permanently lubricated.
- Belt slide rail: UHMW polyethylene wearstrips.
- Belt: thermoplastic (Acetal) chain.
- Sprockets: reinforced polyamide.
- Guide rails: refer to SS Modular Conveyor section on page XAE 27.
- Motor package: refer to SS Modular Conveyor section on page XCC 87.
- Supports: stainless steel 3” square columns.

- Belt slide rail: UHMW polyethylene wearstrips.
- Belt: thermoplastic (Acetal) chain.
- Sprockets: reinforced polyamide.

- Guides: aluminum sheath with UHMW-PE cover.
- Guide brackets: horizontally adjustable with knob-adjustable bracket.
- Motor package: refer to conveyor components section on page XCC 87.
- Supports: aluminum square extrusion with aluminum casting pedestal.
